Every two minutes in the UK someone’s life is devastated by a cancer diagnosis. Our aim is to reduce the number of people who get cancer and make sure more survive the disease and we need your help.
Join our team and you’ll receive a fundraising pack and a free T-shirt or vest with your name on it. You’ll be invited to a post-event breakfast reception, a well-deserved massage and not forgetting the excellent support from our fantastic dedicated team.
There are more than 6,000 children in the UK dependant on technology to help them breathe or eat and more than 1,000 children are born each year with a rare medical condition. While a lot of these conditions affect only a few children each, combined they add up to thousands. Add to that the children who’s lives are affected overnight by accidents or infections, and those living with more well-known conditions such as cancer and cerebral palsy , and the size of the problem becomes apparent.
WellChild’s aim is simple.
We work to improve the lives of seriously ill children, through care, support and research.
