The concept is ideal for first timers looking for an introduction to triathlon. The team of 3 consists of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner with each team member handing over their timing chip (‘the baton’) at the end of each leg. This means you only have to tackle one of the three legs to a triathlon.

Whilst acting as an introduction for some, for others it is highly competitive and has evolved into one of the most exciting corporate sporting challenges of the year. It is the ideal way for you to compete alongside a colleague within the buzz and excitement of the largest triathlon in the world.



Who is the office Hasselhoff? Who fancies themselves as the Chris Hoy of the daily commute? Who is going to lead the team home a la Kriss Akabusi?

For those wanting to pit themselves against their rivals across the city or the corridor, for the first time we have introduced industry prizes to take the competition out of the office. League tables will exist to see who is the best in your company or industry. There will be prizes for winning Team Relays in the following industries*:

If that doesn’t make it exciting enough for you we have also extended the challenge to the City and Canary Wharf, where does your allegiance lie? Is it with the established, traditional face of Britain's financial centre or the glass-fronted modernity of Canary Wharf?

The battle for supremacy has been simmering for some time and the London Triathlon Team Relay is here to settle it once and for all!
